IT IS really a matter of shame for the politician who consider themselves un-challengeable and un-questionable, who think that only their individual has ultimate say in the matter of politics and the political realms and spheres of this country. Who speak in disdain for all those who have got a dissenting and opposite opinion for politician’s propriety and sense of political decision on important issues concerning this country?

The civil society exists in a heterogeneous manner, it is but natural in democracy to have different views and approaches towards a problem from every isolated segment in a civil society, but these differences can exist at individual fractional pieces for limited and colloquial aspects and not a large issue concerning every segment of society in even and odd manner alike.

Now, corruption is generated in the way we adopt to conduct the routine and daily affairs of our life. We have seen for the very few years traveling by Metro Train in Delhi are so far met with least instances of corrupt practices. You buy a token or a metro card and board the metro to your destination. No one comes to inspect your card or token, you travel almost corruption and interruption free.

The revenue is recorded and has transparent system of daily collection record. You know every penny of revenue is counted and fool proof record is given. The same system does not generate in other mode of transport and the problems of corruption. This is to say that if system is fool proof and supervised in a scientific means by modern technological way, the chances of corrosion will minimize.

Even then there are grey areas where you will need human intervention and stop the corrupt from committing frauds and corruption. Therefore a fool proof supervisory strong system needs to be evolved, which can control corruption by bringing the corrupt to book. This could be done by setting up Lokpal in centre and Lokayukta in States. There was a complete consensus in opposition over a common minimum agreement which the entire world saw. Somehow, the bill got stuck. Now it will be in the interest of both opposition and the ruling congress to sit together and reach that minimum agreement where four to five amendments suggested by the entire opposition in, which they seem to be having consensus, can be adopted by the ruling congress in budget session and pass the bill, Waiting for the UP election results was and is going to be a very bad idea for Congress. If they would have met the needs of their ally and the friendly parties they could have sailed with the bill but none had the intention of getting the bill through.
